Diamond Bar Woman Found Dead in Anaheim
The woman's body was found near the Katella Avenue offramp.
Authorities discovered the body of 30-year-old woman today on the Orange (57) Freeway in Anaheim, a police official said.
The California Highway Patrol was notified of the woman's body on the northbound freeway at Katella Avenue at 12:20 a.m., a CHP dispatcher said.
When officers arrived at the scene they found the body of Desiree Moriel of Diamond Bar near the Katella Avenue offramp, Anaheim police Sgt. Bob Dunn said. Dunn said authorities received several calls about a possible dead body between Orangewood and Katella avenues.
An autopsy was pending.
