Former Lorbeer Teacher Andrews Gets New Trial Date

The 42 year old is accused of committing lewd acts against a 14-year-old student.

The trial of a former Lorbeer Middle School teacher accused of committing lewd acts against a 14-year-old student has been pushed back again.

The trial for Steven Andrews, 42, was rescheduled for June 12, with a new readiness hearing set for June 10, said Jane Robison, a Los Angeles County District Attorney's office spokeswoman

Trial dates are subject to change if attorneys determine they need more time at the readiness hearing, Robison said last month.
