A noninjury fire destroyed a fortune teller's business in a La Puente strip mall early this morning, authorities said.
Firefighters arrived in the 15800 block of Main Street around 3:30 a.m. and put out the fire at 3:48 a.m., said Rey Dong, a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatch supervisor, adding that 35 firefighters were deployed.
Several adjoining businesses were also damaged in the fire, a news photographer reported from the scene.
