Four Lives Lost in Murder, Suicide in Pomona

The dead were described as a woman of about 52, her 24-year-old daughter, her 17-year-old son, and the younger woman's 28-year-old boyfriend.

A man allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend, her brother and mother at a home in Pomona and then turned the gun on himself, authorities said today.

The bodies were discovered in the 2100 block of Ramsey Way, coroner's Chief Craig Harvey said. The shootings occurred late Thursday, according to reports from the scene.

Officers went to the house after the man called relatives of the victims and said he was going to harm the family, police said. His body was found at the foot of his girlfriend's bed.
