A two-vehicle crash Sunday sent five people to hospitals, one of them to USC trauma center, a fire captain told Patch.
The crash was reported about 9:30 p.m. on Hacienda Boulevard, near Gale Avenue, according to Los Angeles County fire Capt. Scott Jones.
One person was trapped and required extrication by firefighters, Jones told Patch.
Four people went to area hospitals by ambulance; one was taken by ambulance to the trauma center, the captain said.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
