Industry Driver Strikes Light Post, Airlifted to Hospital

An unnamed driver involved in a crash in the City of Industry today was airlifted to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.

At 12:27 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched to the location at Crossroads Parkway just south of the Pomona freeway in response to a vehicle into a light post, said fire Inspector Quvondo Johnson.

Firefighters were able to cut the motorist free from the vehicle at 1:27 p.m. and transport the driver by helicopter to a local trauma center, Johnson said.
