City of Industry Sheriff's detectives arrested one man and detained 14 juveniles suspected of causing more than $1 million in loss and damages to a home.

A second adult was arrested on an unrelated drug charge.

The Industry Sheriff's had a press conference today to outline the case.

Between 4 p.m. Nov. 23 and 9 a.m. Nov. 24, a number of people attended a party at a La Habra Heights home, unbeknownst to the owner of the house, according to a news release. While the party was going on, several party-goers allegedly burglarized and vandalized the residence.

Industry Station detectives conducted a two-week investigation, arresting several juveniles and one adult from neighboring communities for their alleged involvement, authorities said.

Four search warrants and eight Ramey arrest warrants were served today throughout unincorporated Whittier, as well as the cities of La Habra and Whittier.

The warrants resulted in the arrest of Nickolas Koontz, 18, and 14 unnamed juveniles on suspicion of burglary and trespassing.  The second adult arrested on the unrelated charge was not identified.

Stolen items ranged from designer clothing to electronics to a stuffed leopard.

Look what "social media" can do! Where are the parents of these young people and what have they taught their offspring? It is obvious they are on the low end of morals. But fear not folks, some day these same youngsters will be in politics and will be taking care of us all! In the mean time remember that spanking is felonious behavior and never say anything that can injure their self esteem. Gee, I'm glad I'm OLD!

This house is a few blocks from my parents' house. The homeowner the owner of a trucking company and is of Romanian descent. He looks like someone not to be messed with. The kids picked the wrong house to burgle and vandalize. Owner is known for wild parties. See video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PE3SMMlAKTA

Yes Vito, and the kids deserve whatever they get as long as it's not a slap on the back of the hand. Maybe some time in a cell with Bubba the sex starved cellmate would be enlightening.
