Industry Detectves Nab Suspects in $1 Million Burglary and Vandalism Case

City of Industry Sheriff's detectives arrested one man and detained 14 juveniles suspected of causing more than $1 million in loss and damages to a home.

A second adult was arrested on an unrelated drug charge.

The Industry Sheriff's had a press conference today to outline the case.

Between 4 p.m. Nov. 23 and 9 a.m. Nov. 24, a number of people attended a party at a La Habra Heights home, unbeknownst to the owner of the house, according to a news release. While the party was going on, several party-goers allegedly burglarized and vandalized the residence.

Industry Station detectives conducted a two-week investigation, arresting several juveniles and one adult from neighboring communities for their alleged involvement, authorities said.

Four search warrants and eight Ramey arrest warrants were served today throughout unincorporated Whittier, as well as the cities of La Habra and Whittier.
