A hit-and-run driver reportedly caused a crash that injured another motorist and caused a traffic snarl right at rush hour on the northbound Orange (57) Freeway in Diamond Bar Friday, officials said.
The crash, just south of Pathfinder Road, was reported about 5:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol incident log.
The victim's Honda Accord blocked the far left lane, the CHP reported.
Firefighter and paramedic trucks arriving to assist the victim blocked two far left and the middle lanes, according to the CHP.
A flatbed truck was ordered to tow the vehicle, the CHP reported.
The lanes were all open by 6:07 p.m., according to the CHP.
The crash was under investigation.
