LA County Sheriff's Seeks Public's Help to Find Attempted Murder Suspects

The stabbing took place April 10 at a fast food restaurant on Gale Avenue.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives are seeking the public's assistance with the investigation of a suspected gang-related stabbing of a teen in Hacienda Heights.

On April 10, just before 8 p.m., the 19-year-old male victim was at a fast food restaurant in he 14600 block of Gale Ave. He and his friends arrived at the restaurant together and while his friends went in, the victim stayed in the parking lot near the car, according to a sheriff's news release.

"While the victim awaited his friends’ return, a man approached him and questioned his gang affiliation," officials wrote in the news release. "The victim denied any gang affiliation, which enraged the suspect, who ran toward the victim and stabbed him in the upper body."

The suspect reported fled the scene in a 2000-2005 silver or gray Kia Sorrento, heading eastbound on Gale Avenue.  A unidentified woman was driving the car, authorities said.

The male suspect is in his 20’s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190 pounds, with a tattoo on the right side of his neck. At the time of the incident, he wore a gray shirt, baggy blue jean pants and a baseball cap.

The female driver is in her 20’s, approximately 5 feet six inches and 180 pounds. She was wearing light blue pants that may be medical "scrubs at the time of the alleged incident.

The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
