LASD Seize 200+ High-End Appliances in Burglary Ring

During the search more than 200 appliances were seized along with cash and an illegal assault rifle.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Walnut-Diamond Bar station detectives recently served a multi-location search warrant in the cities of Pasadena, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario and Riverside in a high-end appliance theft investigation

The investigation began when several expensive appliances were stolen from a residence in a gated community located in Diamond Bar.

During the search more than 200 appliances were seized along with cash and an illegal assault rifle, deputies said Wednesday.

Initially six persons were placed under arrest and several vehicles were also seized, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department. Later, detectives identified two more suspects and subsequently arrested them in El Monte.

"It is believed that most of the seized appliances were stolen from residences in cities throughout Southern California," the department reported.

The investigation is reportedly ongoing. Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying possible stolen property recovered from several warehouses used by the suspects.

These morons must be stealing high end Viking or Blue Star ovens, ranges, cooktops out of foreclosed houses in the area. Boy, tough things to steal. Heavy and large. Hard to hide.
