Man Struck and Killed Running Across 60 Freeway Identified

Roger Kenny Reyna, 30, died at the scene of the crash in the City of Industry Friday night.

A 30-year-old man who was struck and killed by a vehicle when he tried to cross the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Industry after the vehicle he was driving broke down was identified by the coroner's office today.

Roger Kenny Reyna, of Montebello, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that was reported just after 8:35 p.m. Friday near Crossroads Parkway, according to the California Highway Patrol and the coroner's office.

Reyna left his mother in the vehicle when he went to get help after the breakdown, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
