The unnamed man died at the scene of the crash, which took place near the Kellogg Road exit.

A motorcyclist was killed today in a collision with a big rig on the westbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in the Pomona area, authorities said.

The man, about 25-30 years of age, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred about 4:30 a.m. at Kellogg Road, said California Highway Patrol Officer Monica Posada. Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of his relatives.

All westbound lanes were blocked until shortly before 5 a.m., when the fast lane reopened, Posada said. The remaining lanes were reopened about 7 a.m., Posada said. The trucker was unhurt. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
