Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Pomona
The circumstances of the death were under investigation on Tuesday.
A pedestrian was struck by a car and killed in Pomona, police said today.
The 71-year-old man died at the scene of his injury, which occurred about 8:40 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of West Holt Avenue, said Pomona police Sgt. Christian Hsu. His name and city of residence were not immediately released.
The motorist was not injured, Hsu said. The circumstances of the death were under investigation.
