Clean up crews remain on the scene of a material spill and a fire on the 57 Freeway.
The Sig Alert remains in effect and traffic continues to be slow going through the Brea area. The alert is for the slow lane and the Imperial exit of the southbound 57 Freeway.

The California Highway Patrol has issued a Sig Alert for the southbound 57 freeway at Imperial Highway due to a fire in the No. 4 lane, according the CHP's website.
The alert was issued at 11:56 a.m. Traffic is backed up as a result.
