Stabbing Suspect Arrested After Standoff with Deputies

A 21-year-old man is in custody in connection with the stabbing of his brother and a pregnant teen.

A 23-year-old man and a pregnant 18-year-old woman were stabbed multiple times at a Rowland Heights home today, and the man's brother was taken into custody after barricading himself in the home for about two hours.

The male victim was hospitalized in critical condition and the woman was listed in stable condition, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

David Campos, 21, surrendered around 5 p.m.

Campos was booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder. His bail was set at $1 million, said Lt. Steven Katz of the Walnut/Diamond Bar Station.

Deputies were called around 3 p.m. to the house in the 18000 block of Los Palacios Drive.
