UPDATED: Suspicious Device Forces Street Closure in Diamond Bar

Sheriff's deputies said they found the suspicious device in the area of Hilton Head Drive.

UPDATE: The Los Angeles County Sheriff's bomb squad detonated a suspicious device found at the condominium complex on Hilton Head Drive.

No one was injured and the device was destroyed, said Los Angeles County Sheriff's Lt. John Saleeby.

"That would have caused the explosion (residents) heard," Saleeby said.
