Teen Fatally Stabbed at Westfield West Covina
An 18-year-old was fatality stabbed on Sunday. He was reportedly attacked by a multiple assailants, police said.
An 18-year-old Baldwin Park man was fatally stabbed in a parking lot of the Westfield West Covina shopping center, police reported today.
The stabbing occurred late Sunday afternoon in the parking lot along the south side of Sears, said West Covina police Officer Rudy Lopez.
The man was brought into the emergency room of Queen of the Valley Hospital by unknown persons at 5:14 p.m. and died during surgery at 10:35 p.m., Lopez said.

The victim's name was not released.
The suspects were described by police as "multiple male Hispanics that fled the scene after the initial confrontation."

The motive for the attack was not known.
"We're working all investigative leads," Detective Sgt. Dennis Patton said.
