Three men were shot and injured in a vehicle-to- vehicle shooting just before midnight in La Puente, a sheriff's sergeant said today.
Paramedics transported the wounded men to Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center, said Sgt. James Beamon of the sheriff's Industry station. The victims are expected to survive.
About 11:15 p.m. Friday, a white sport utility vehicle drove up to another vehicle at Stimson Avenue and Las Vecinas Drive and someone inside the SUV fired shots into the other vehicle, Beamon said.
The sergeant had no descriptions of any possible suspects.
