Two Burglary Suspects Arrested Following DB Crash

The suspects led Sheriff's deputies on a short pursuit that ended after the driver of the getaway car collided with two other cars.

Two unidentified men were arrested today after a short pursuit that ended in a crash at Diamond Bar Boulevard and Golden Springs Drive.

The suspects were taken into custody around 12:30 p.m., said Walnut Sheriff’s Lt. Mike Brown.  The men were spotted in the process of burglarizing a property and fled when deputies arrived.  They led deputies on a short pursuit that ended when the car the suspects were driving hit two other cars, Brown said.

No serious injuries were reported.  The two suspects were booked at the Walnut/Diamond Bar Sheriff’s station and some stolen items from a separate burglary were recovered, Brown said.

The city of Diamond Bar sent out a message on Facebook at around 4 p.m. that all traffic lanes had been cleared following the collision and investigation.

More like good job to the person who called the cops when they saw cars being broken into.
