Two Men Injured in Single-Car Crash Saturday on Avenida Alipaz

The driver will likely face charges of suspicion of driving under the influence.

A 20-year-old man involved in a single-car crash in Walnut early Saturday morning will likely be charged with suspicion of driving under the influence.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department received a call at 3:30 a.m. regarding the crash in the 400 block of Avenida Alipaz, said Walnut Sheriff' Station Sgt. R. Causey.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the driver and his 20-year-old passenger in the car.  The driver had driven off a 10-foot embankment and the car rolled over, Causey said.

The driver showed symptoms of being under the influence, he said.

Both occupants of the car were transported to the Pomona Valley Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.
