Two Sheriff's Deputes Injured in Collision En Route to Another Crash
A civilian also was injured and the deputies airlifted to County-USC Medical Center.
A sheriff's patrol car responding to a crash collided with a pickup truck in Pomona tonight, injuring two deputies and a civilian who were trapped in their vehicles.
The collision was reported at 10:13 p.m. at the intersection of Temple Avenue and Valley Boulevard, according to a deputy at the sheriff's Walnut Station.
The deputies were airlifted to County-USC Medical Center and someone in the pickup truck was taken from the scene in an ambulance, said a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.

The patrol car had its emergency lights and siren on when the collision occurred, according to the sheriff's department.
