Capitol Comment for the Week of February 3, 2014

Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) previews new legislation in his Capitol Comment for the week of Feb. 3, 2014.

The bi-partisan legislative preview involves a number of Senate and Assembly offices and focuses on the problem of childhood sex trafficking. Los Angeles County Supervisors call sex trafficking one of the biggest threats to California, which is why Chairman Don Knabe traveled from Los Angeles to Sacramento to take part in the legislative introduction of a number of bills.

Senator Huff says the new legislation will focus on increasing penalties for gangs who lure minors into a life of prostitution, plus the johns who solicit services from these minors.
