CAPITOL COMMENT: Huff Calls for Investigation into CAL Fire 'Secret Account'

The state Senate Republican leader also talks about misspent taxpayer money in school lunch programs.

In his most recent Capitol Comment, state Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff, R-Diamond Bar, calls for a federal investigation into the discovery of $3.6 million found in an California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection fund.

Huff said the money was kept in a secret fund and that it must be looked into.

The Senate Republican Leader also gives his reaction to a Senate Office of Oversight and Outcomes report, which he said shows the Los Angeles Unified School District (and other districts) deliberately misspent taxpayer money that was dedicated to school lunch programs for low-income students.
