Capitol Comment: Huff to Host Holiday Open House

The following news release is from the office of state Sen. Bob Huff, whose district includes Diamond Bar and Walnut.

Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) informs his constituents about an upcoming holiday event at his District Office and other political and policy issues in his Capitol Comment for the week of December 2nd, 2013.

The Diamond Bar High School Orchestra will provide entertainment during the holiday open house at the Brea District Office and Senator Huff will provide visitors with a legislative update from Sacramento. Part of that update includes the latest bad news for efforts to build a high speed rail system in California, and what the State Legislature might do with a potential water bond when legislators return to Sacramento early next year.

Senator Huff serves as the Senate Republican Leader in the California State Senate and represents the 29th Senate District covering portions of Los Angeles, Orange and San Bernardino Counties. Follow Senator Huff on Twitter @bobhuff99.

I assume Senator Huff is going to repay the district for the appearance of the Diamond Bar students. Hopefully, he will acknowledge that the State appears to be much improved financially of late and update the citizens on the possibility of a football stadium in Diamond Bar and his vote on this issue.

The Industry stadium will NEVER happen, the NFL doesn't want a stadium in the middle of nowhere. The question is, what will Majestic Realty do with the free environmental pass Bob Huff gave them. At least Huff sold his vote for decent money, unlike most- Majestic paid his wife $100K. She has a "consulting business" with ONE CLIENT- Majestic.

Is it true? I have had the highest respect for Bob. Do you know for sure he is selling his senate voice to Majestic?
Michael December 08, 2013 at 03:23 PM
Where have you been? There are SEVERAL articles on this, including the LA Times I think. http://sierramadretattler.blogspot.com/2009/10/does-bob-huff-love-ed-roski-too-much.html

I agree the stadium will probably never be built. However, what does that have to do with Christmas, or to be politically correct, Holiday Party? Michael W, you are very close to the libel line. I assume you have some "proof" of the senator "selling his vote." Otherwise, I think you just stepped over that line. It would be nice to see someone finally take you on for all of the unsubstantiated comments you make here about people.

Oh right, I'm so off base, his wife gets $100K from Majestic and that doesn't influence him, I'm sure. Unsubstantiated comments in the link from the SGV Tribune above??? I assumed you could read & comprehend English in the article- I was wrong. Why did I even bother responding. For the rest of you, Huff isn't any dirtier than all the others Majestic Realty owns. I think he should have made the case for the Stadium vs. sneaking around as he did. It could have been a great project if he advocated for Walnut instead of taking sides against us. But the project is dead due to the NFL, not anything else.

Michael W, You didn't say "influenced." You specifically said he committed a crime and "sold his vote" for 100,000 dollars. Big difference. I only hope you have to explain it to a judge, not me.

I trust Bob. He has been fighting for our rights with sold out Sacramento gang for years. Bob, keep up your fight!

Lim puppet Michael West has a track record of lying about people. His racist and slanderous comments are an attempt to compensate for his inadequacies. West has a delusion about getting elected to public office. He will never succeed because people recognize him for what he is, a demagogue. West proposed cash payments to himself when Lim appointed him to the NFL Stadium task force. His dumb proposal, which is illegal got the task force disbanded. West runs for office repeatedly and misrepresents the truth hoping the uninformed voters will fall for his outright fabrications.

Pacheco-puppets Joe Estez and Walnut dog get a little worried every time the truth comes out about one in their clan. Pacheco had to pay a $14,000 fine for campaign cheating- is that a lie too? For those that can use the Internet, Google "Pacheco $14,000 fine"

A classic symptom of a pathological liar is when confronted with the fact that they are lying, they change the subject. West has been doing this for years on the Patch. He makes outlandish statements, when confronted he changes the subject and publishes more drivel, What is amazing to me is that the Patch tolerates his race baiting comments. He also claims to be a politically conservative and yet is a follower of Joaquin Lim and an associate of Jay Chen and Howard Wang, both of which are avowed leftists.

Michael W, How did I become a "Pacheco Puppet." I have never supported or even mentioned him in one of my posts. There you go again just making things up. You live in a world of make believe.
Walnut Watchdog December 10, 2013 at 11:56 AM
No, he is a deliberate liar. Nothing less.
