CAPITOL COMMENT: Huff Urges Attorney General to Investigate State Parks Officials

The Senate Republican leader said that $20 million in funding was found at the same time parks officials were closing state parks.

Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff urges California Attorney General Kamala Harris to take action against the California Parks and Recreation leadership related to $20 million in "secret funds" the agency allegedly put away.

In his most recent Capitol Comment, Huff, whose district includes Diamond Bar and Walnut, said that one year has passed since investigators in the attorney general's office reportedly discovered the funds.

At the same time the money was found, the park service had been closing parks, he said.
