In the most recent Capitol Comment, Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff, R-Diamond Bar, reports on the California State Legislature's return for the final four weeks of its session.

The following is information from Huff's office regarding what is to come at by the end of the legislative session.

The State Senate must take up roughly 900 bills before the end of session, including a number of important measures. Senator Huff is critical of last minute changes made to a water bond that is slated to appear on the 2014 ballot, and also highlights possible legislative action to change California's Medical Injury Compensation Reform Act (MICRA). The Senate Republican Leader also updates legislative efforts to reform the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
