City Council to Vote on $6M for New City Hall, Library Building

The Diamond Bar city council will vote to approve about $6.1 million in spending for construction at a new city hall building that the city purchased in September of 2010. Here's a rundown of the Tuesday, July 5 agenda.

The Diamond Bar City Council will vote Tuesday night on a $6.1 million allocation and a lease agreement with Los Angeles County to move a new city hall and library project closer toward completion.

The $6.1 million would provide for renovation of the building at 21810 Copley Drive, which the city purchased in September of 2010 for $9.9 million.

The city will also pay for renovations to the first floor of the building, most of which will contain a new Diamond Bar Library, pending an agreement with the County.
