Diamond Bar Accepting Applications to Tiny Tots Program

The program for children ages 3 to 5 is to help students learn skills needed to better transition into kindergarten.

Applications are now available for parents wishing to enroll their pre-school aged children in the winter session of the City of Diamond Bar’s Tiny Tots program which runs Monday, January 6 through Friday, March 28.

The popular 12-week enrichment program for children ages 3 to 5 is designed to encourage intellectual, physical, and social growth for a positive transition into kindergarten. Learning is accomplished through music, exercise, stories, games, community awareness, and art projects.

Three-year olds are introduced to early learning such as colors, shapes, numbers, and the alphabet, while the program for children age places emphasis on letter recognition, beginning math concepts, and kindergarten readiness. 

Children age 3 meet Tuesdays & Thursdays, while those ages 4 and 5 meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All classes are held at both Heritage and Pantera parks, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. or from 12 to 2:30 p.m.

Program registration fee is $336 for three-year-olds, and $490 for four and five-year-olds. Space is limited and enrollment is taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
