Diamond Bar Reopens Bark Park at Pantera

The dog park had closed in October for several upgrades.

The city of Diamond Bar's dog park has reopened.

The Bark Park at Pantera Park was closed in October for several upgrades to improve accessibility, according to the city's website.

The upgrades the city made include new paved walkways from the existing park path to the entrance into the dog play areas and a new set of stairs, according to the city's newsletter.

The dog park entrance is across from Pantera Elementary School, near the basketball courts. Amenities now include benches, drinking fountains with pet bowls, and complimentary dog waste bags.

The dog park opened in November 2012 on the 1.35-acre site on the south side of Pantera Park. It features two enclosed areas where dogs can roam off-leash, a .6-acre for large dogs weighing more than 25 pounds and a .3-acre one for small dogs under 25 pounds.
