Diamond Bar Searching for Veterans with Ties to City

The city is trying to collect photos to use during its annual Veterans Day Ceremony.

If you are military veteran and a current or former resident of Diamond Bar, the city is asking you to submit a photo of yourself to use during its Veterans Day Ceremony planned for Nov. 8.

The photographs for exhibit consideration should feature veterans in uniform and/or during active service, officials said. The deadline to submit is no later than 5 p.m. Oct. 15, a Monday. They will be returned to their owners no later than Friday, Nov. 23, city officials said.

Submissions may be walked in during business hours of Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 5:30pm or Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm, or mailed along with a description of the photo, a contact name and phone number, and a return address.

Photographs walked into the Diamond Bar City Hall can be photocopied and returned the same day.
