Diamond Bar to Celebrate 24th Birthday Saturday

The annual celebration is the city's largest community event.

The city of Diamond Bar will celebrate its 24th birthday Saturday with an annual event at Pantera Park.

The recognition of the city’s date of incorporation is Diamond Bar’s largest community event and will include carnival rides, games, a classic car show, entertainment, and giveaways, according to the city’s website.

The party goes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the park, 738 Pantera Drive.  The Teen Action Zone will stay open until 6 p.m.

Parking for the event is available at Pantera Elementary School and the surrounding neighborhood.  The city provides free shuttle bus service from the school parking lot to the neighborhood around the park, officials said.  The shuttle service starts at 11:30 a.m. and continues until the event ends.
