Diamond Bar-Walnut Patch 2012 Election Guide

Diamond Bar and Walnut residents will be voting for a host of candidates and measures today.

Election Day has arrived, so we've put together this guide on what you need to know before heading out to the polls today.

The election ballot goes beyond the race between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney.  Voters in California also will be asked to decide on a lengthy list of local representatives and ballot measures.

A total of 11 measures are under consideration, with Proposition 30 and 38, both initiatives to increase taxes to raise education funds, getting the most focus.
