America Recycles Day Event

City's Environmental Booth: Hand-outs promoting the City’s environmental programs and services, as well as the popular mail-back battery/fluorescent bulb and cell phone/ ink cartridge recycling kits will be available for pickup.

E-Waste Recycling: Electronic waste (e-waste) includes items such as computers, monitors, cell phones, TVs, and vacuums. Recycling of microwaves requires a $5 per unit disposal fee.

Paper Shredding: A licensed and bonded document destruction company will be conducting on-site shredding of unwanted confidential and sensitive paper materials (e.g. loan or insurance documents, and financial,
medical, or legal records), with the shredding process viewable through a monitor. Cardboard items will not be accepted. The shredded material will be recycled and thereby diverted from the landfill.
