Land Owners Seek to Demolish Diamond Bar Home

A property owners wants to build a bigger home on acre of Diamond Bar Property. The issue will be discussed at a scheduled Planning Commission meeting.

The expansion of a veterinary hospital and demolition of a home will be discussed during Diamond Bar’s Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday night.

The meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m. in the Windmill Community Room in the City Hall.

Saul Jaffe, and property owner, Golden Tree Group, Inc., seeks approval for conditional use permit that would allow the expansion of an existing emergency veterinary clinic at 934 and 938 N. Diamond Bar Blvd.

The city recommends approval of a draft resolution subject to conditions set by staff.

Also on the agenda are Pete Volbeda, and property owners, Raymond and Vivian Obiamalu, who are asking for development review approval to demolish the existing home at 2234 Feather Rock Road.

The group are looking to construct a new 15,049 square-foot single family residence on a 47,045 square-foot lot. 

City staff recommends approval of the development review.
