Lane Closures on 60 Freeway Start Tonight

The closures, which run through Friday, are for an ongoing pavement rehabilitation project.

The California Department of Transportation plans to close portions of State Route 60 this week as part of an ongoing $121.5 million pavement rehabilitation project.

The closures, which will be between State Route 57 and Interstate 605, start tonight and go through Friday, according to a news release. 

Closures are as follows and subject to change.

Monday, Aug. 19, through Friday, Aug. 23

Eastbound SR-60

•10 p.m. to 5 a.m. –Up to three lanes between I-605 & Azusa Avenue
•11 p.m. to 5 a.m. –High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane CLOSED between I-605 and Azusa Avenue

Westbound SR-60

•11 p.m. to 5 a.m. –Up to three lanes between southbound SR-57 and Azusa Avenue
•10 p.m. to 4 a.m. –HOV lane CLOSED between southbound SR-57 and Azusa Avenue
