Photographs Needed for Veteran's Day Exhibit

Current and former residents of Diamond Bar who have served in the military will be featured in a photo exhibit.

The city is planning a special exhibit for its Veterans Day Ceremony and is seeking 
photographs of retired or discharged service members who live or have lived in Diamond Bar.

This year’s Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at the Diamond Bar Center, 1600 Grand Avenue, on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 9 a.m. Service members who have not been previously recognized by the City Council and participants of the City’s Armed Forces Banner Program who are no longer actively deployed will be honored with an award and commemorative pin.

Photographs submitted for exhibit consideration should be of the veteran in uniform and/or
during active service. It should also include identification information, such as the veteran’s name, military branch and occupation specialty, dates of service and awards earned. Copies are suggested as submissions will not be returned.

Submissions should include a contact name and phone number and be emailed to Community Services Coordinator Andee Tarazon: atarazon@diamondbarca.gov. Submissions can also be mailed/hand-delivered to Diamond Bar City Hall, 21810 Copley Drive, Diamond Bar, CA 91765.
