PHOTOS: A Look at Diamond Bar's New City Hall

On Thursday, the move to 21810 Copley Drive began.

After a year of planning the logistics, City Hall's move from 21825 to 21810 Copley Drive began Thursday and will continue Friday. With everything going according to plan, the new City Hall will be open for business starting at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 3.

City offices will span 27,000 square feet on the second floor, with the new library - scheduled to open next summer - taking up 24,000 square feet downstairs.

Throughout the day, everything from file cabinets to computers were moved across the street to the former Allstate call center, with workers finishing up inside and on the landscaping.
