Police asked for the public's help tonight in locating a missing 17-year-old player on the West Covina High School football team who is believed to have run away from home.

Peter Gustavo Albrechtsen was last seen at 11 p.m. Sunday. His family noticed he was gone at 6 a.m. Monday, but presumed he had gone to school. When he didn't turn up either at school or football practice, his parents notified West Covina police, Lt. David Lee said.

It is believed that Peter ran away after an argument with his parents. He had never run away before.
