On Tuesday, the Diamond Bar City Council approved a $55,000 market analysis to be done on the Honda site on Grand Avenue and the 60/57 freeway.
Just before the vote, City Manager Jim DeStefano said the site, with its freeway access, would be great for businesses that cater to the commuter or the business traveler.
The Honda dealership moved in 2006 to the City of Industry, leaving that parcel vacant. Around Jan. 31, Burger King, which was adjacent to the dealership, also closed.
As residents and local consumers, what would you like to see developed on that lot? Would you like restaurants? Should shops go there or maybe a hotel?
Tell us what you would like to see there in the comments section below.
