Power Outage Affects More than 1,600 Diamond Bar and Pomona Residents

The electricity went on at 9:46 p.m. Monday night.

A power outage left 1,675 Diamond Bar and Pomona residents without electricity Monday night.

The lights went out at 9:46 p.m., according to the Southern California Edison outage center on its website. The cause is listed as equipment failure.

Crews are repairing the equipment and the estimated restoration time is listed as 2 a.m.today.
