The Jay Chen campaign recently hosted a College Application Workshop at their Hacienda Heights office, according to campaign officials.
More than 100 students and parents from several high schools – including Diamond Bar, Walnut, Wilson, Los Altos and John A. Rowland high schools – participated.
"(We) provided tips on how to apply to college, from crafting the application, preparing for the interview, practicing the SAT and writing your personal statement," said campaign spokesman Calvin Sung. "We will be doing several more this fall!"
