VIDEO: Huff Takes a Stand on the Budget

There are a number of problems with the budget plan. It’s built on the assumption that voters will approve $50 billion worth of new taxes this November, Huff said.

This week’s Capitol Comment by Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) is a video from the Senator’s Floor statement from earlier Friday in which he voices opposition to the Democrat crafted state budget plan.

“Proposition 25 gives Democrats the power to pass a new budget with a majority vote only,” according to a written statement released by Huff’s office.

Republicans have not been involved in any budget negotiations since Proposition 25 passed, Huff said.

“There are a number of problems with the budget plan, including the fact that it’s built on the assumption that voters will approve $50 billion worth of new taxes this November,” Huff wrote. “The budget also contains a number of ‘special fund’ raids and rejects many of the Governor’s proposed budget cuts.”

Senator Huff represents the 29th Senate District which serves Diamond Bar and Walnut.

Huff has a good point. Make sure you vote for Proposition 25 to help your schools and calm his fears.

Bob Huff reminds Me of Bob Dornan. He will Huff and He will Puff and He will Blow the House down! I have a picture of Bob Dornan kissing a Central American Baby. At the same time He supported policies that brought us "El Mozote". Google it! Once the critical mass of money has aggregated into the 1%. You will forsaken all rights for a little Reprieve. Its my Opinion that its more compulsion, than misled.
