Walnut Youth Commissioners Honored

The Walnut City Council tonight recognized outgoing members of the Youth Commission.

The teens honored each served a two-year term, tackling issues like bullying and leading a Goodwill donation effort among other accomplishments.

All five council members thanked them for their service.

"These young people are making a difference in the community," Mayor Tom King said, "and that's what makes Walnut great."

Each student received a certificate and a city pin.
