Candidates Forum This Week for Those Vying for Rowland Unified School Board
Attendees must RSVP by Tuesday.
The following information was provided by the Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council. Rowland Unified School District serves a portion of Walnut.
Rowland KIDS First will be joining forces with RCPTA to host a Candidate Forum Wednesday Sept. 25, 6:30pm sign in, 7pm start, Telesis Academy (2800 E. Hollingworth Ave, W. Covina).
This event will be an opportunity for the voters within our community to get to know the position of our candidates on various topics pertaining to the Rowland Unified School District. The event will be moderated by the East San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the League of Women Voters. Questions to the candidates will be written by members of the audience before the event. The questions will then be submitted to representatives from the League of Women Voters who will present the questions in a structured way that gives all candidates an opportunity to respond.
