Diamond Bar High Food Truck Fundraiser Set for Saturday

Six gourmet food trucks will participate in the event at the Pathfinder Road campus.

Diamond Bar High School is calling all foodies.

The school on Saturday will host a fundraising food truck festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the campus' front parking lot, 21400 E. Pathfinder Road.

Six gourmet food trucks have signed on to be there including the Lime Truck, winner of the Food Network's second season of the "Great Food Trucks Race" and Sweet Arleen's Cupcakes, winners of the Food Network's "Cupcake Wars," according to a news release.

Others offering their finest fare will be Komodo Truck, Baby's Bad*** Burgers, Let's Roll It for sushi, and Paradise Truck for baked goods and gourmet ice-cream sandwiches.

The trucks will donate a percentage of their sales to the school.

"We always love being a part of the food truck events at Diamond Bar High School," said Chick Young, owner of The Paradise Truck.  “This food truck event is one of those events that we enjoy being a part of.  It's always a fun day with a great turnout."

The admission donation is $2 for adults and $1 for students. Children under 5 years old are admitted for free. Outside food and beverages are not allowed.  Pets are permitted.
