Gourmet Food Truck Festival Friday to Help Fund Educational Foundation Efforts

Food trucks planned include Paradise Fine Cookies and Ice Cream and Slummin' Gourmet, and Chaparral and Diamond Bar High students will entertain.

Gourmet food trucks will roll in to Walnut on Friday, December 6 for the Family WHEEL FOOD FEST sponsored by the Walnut Valley Educational Foundation. The family fun night will be held from 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Renowned gourmet food trucks will gather together and donate a portion of their profits to the Walnut Valley Educational foundation in support of our students, teachers and district.  The event will be held at the school district office parking lot at 880 S. Lemon Avenue in Walnut.

“We hope you’ll mark your calendar for December 6 and make it your family night out,” said Cindy Ruiz, Vice President of Fundraising for the Foundation and WVUSD School Board Member. 

The list of confirmed trucks are a foodie fan’s dream include Paradise Fine Cookies and Ice Cream and the local favorite, Slummin’ Gourmet. Enjoy live entertainment from our very own students from Chaparral Middle School and Diamond Bar High Schools. What better way to spend a Friday night!

The WHEEL FOOD FEST will also feature an opportunity to Feed Yourself…Feed your Community. While entry to event is free, as well as, plenty of free parking, if you would like, bring a canned or boxed food item that will be donated to the Walnut Valley Food bank.
