Mt. SAC Men's Soccer Earns Fourth Consecutive Championship

The Mounties won the California Community College Athletic Association state championship by defeating City College of San Francisco, 2-0 on Sunday.

Mt. San Antonio College men's soccer team has won a fourth consecutive California Community College Athletic Association state championship defeating visiting City College of San Francisco, 2-0 on Sunday.

San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports it was the first time in the 39-year history of the CCCAA that a team has won four titles in a row.

"It (championship) doesn't get any better than this," Mt. SAC coach Juan Sanchez told the Daily Bulletin. "I never thought in a million years that we would get one here at home.

"I am very lucky and humbled to have this experience."

Santa Ana College and Mt. SAC (21-3-1) previously had the only three-peats, according to the publication.
