Parents Support Technology at Walnut High

Chinese American Parent Association donates $30,000

Earlier this week, the Chinese American Parent Association at Walnut High School presented a very large check - both in size and dollar amount - to Principal Jeff Jordan.

The $30,000 donation will go towards improving technology at the high school. It is also the latest in a string of funding from the organization, which has totaled more than $50,000 over the past two years.

“Thank you to all our parents who helped with this contribution,” Jordan said. “We will now look at options as our instructional deans request ideas from the various departments for the best ways to use the money for technology and student learning.”

After all input is collected, the final decisions will be made on how to best use the funds.

“It’s nice to have options,” Jordan said.
