Video: Forum for Seven Candidates Vying for Rowland Unified School Board

The Rowland Heights Community Coordinating Council on Oct. 14 hosted a Q and A session for the seven candidates running for the Rowland Unified school board.

The council has posted the attached video on YouTube and on its website. A portion of Walnut is located in the Rowland Unified School District.

"This will be an important election. The three candidates you elect will oversee
the expenditure of nearly $1 billion during their terms, and the quality of our
schools are determined by their decisions," the council wrote in a statement. "Our children deserve the best possible schools, and good schools are also important for all residents, even those who don’t have children, because they are an important determinant of property values."
