Walnut Valley Unified Teachers of the Year Named

Maggie Strand, a Chaparral Middle School science teacher, will be recognized as the District Teacher of the Year.

Walnut Valley Unified School District will pay tribute to our fourteen 2012-2013 Teachers of the Year during the Salute to Teachers program on October 16.

The reception and awards ceremony will be held at the Diamond Bar High School Theater.

Congratulations to the following outstanding educators who were selected by their sites as the 2012-2013 Teachers of the Year:

Maggie Strand, a science teacher in the Design Based Learning (DBL) program at Chaparral Middle School, will be recognized as the District Teacher of the Year.  Maggie represented the WVUSD in the Los Angeles County Teacher of the Year competition.
